Competition Motorsports will team with Calvert Dynamics as they enter drivers Preston Calvert, Michael Lewis, Andrew Davis and Kurt Rezzetano in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.

Laguna Beach, California — Michael Lewis rejoins familiar faces as he will compete in the National Auto Sport Association’s 25 Hours of Thunderhill endurance race, December 2–3, at Thunderhill Raceway Park, in Willows, California.

Kurt Rezzetano will complete the driver lineup for Competition Motorsports in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.

Michael rejoins Bob Faieta and his Competition Motorsports team, who gave Michael his start in American sports car racing in 2014, in the No. 98 GT3 Cup car, part of the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama. In addition, Michael will team with drivers Preston Calvert and Andrew Davis, his 2016 Pirelli World Challenge teammates. Kurt Rezzetano will complete the driver lineup as they compete in the No. 73 Porsche 991.1 GT3 Cup car, a spec Porsche specifically designed for racing, which is similar to the 911 GT3 R Michael, Preston and Andrew drove in October at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This GT3 Cup car, which will run on Yokohama tires, has been modified with additional headlights and other driver aids to compete in this 25-hour race.

“We are looking to win it with a good field of drivers,” said Bob Faieta. “We’re preparing to be the most reliable car on the track and avoid the penalties.”
