Michael Lewis • American Race Car Driver

Michael James Lewis is an American Race Car Driver from Laguna Beach, California. His accomplishments to date include competing in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring (setting pole position in class, finishing P2 in class, and finishing P29 overall out of 131 cars with his teammates), testing a Formula 1 car for Scuderia Ferrari F1 in the F60 chassis on November 15, 2011, winning Formula 3 races (Formula 3 Italia and Formula 3 Euroseries), being an IKF Region 7 TAG Karting Champion, being a multi-class Pomona Valley Quarter Midget Champion, being a 3X IMSA TCR Champion (2019, 2021, 2022), and winning GT3 races.

 

Michael has won and competed in a diverse number of racing vehicles, as listed above and including GT Cars, Touring Cars, Formula 3, Formula BMW, Ford Focus Midgets (oval racing), Late Model Stock Cars (oval racing), Quarter Midgets (oval racing), and domestic and international Karting. Michael’s passion for racing is paramount and he enjoys every aspect of his racing career. The Laguna Beach, California native is known for his professionalism, work ethic, and he lives every day for motorsport and his family.

In 2023, Michael competed in the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring, which included many races in preparation for that big race such as (NLS 1, NLS 2, NLS 3, and the Nürburgring 24h Qualifying Races); and he competed in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge full championship.
